Garima creates rooms where people forget to be afraid of being seen.
Storyteller, theatre educator, actor and puppeteer Garima Arya founded Dramabaaz Company in 2011 to place the child-not the performance-at the centre of creative learning.

Her practice
Theatre is not the destination.
It is how people arrive at themselves.
Working with children, teachers and schools since 1999, Garima brings together theatre-in-education, storytelling, puppetry, performance and teacher development. She trained in theatre-in-education and innovative curriculum development at IMAGO Acting Studio.
Built in real rooms
Garima has performed in more than 30 stage and street productions. She holds an ATCL in Performing Arts with distinction from Trinity College London and a diploma in acting from Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts.
Child before performance
Her mission is to bring children, parents and schools into a shared conversation-so children feel understood, supported consistently and more secure in who they are. Confidence and belonging matter alongside the performance.
Stories beyond the stage
A former general secretary of UNIMA Puppeteers Trust, Garima has 15 years of puppetry experience on Galli Galli Sim Sim and training with Sesame Street practitioners from the United States.
